We also have partnerships with several vacation companies that allow you to research, plan and book your trip online yourself via our personal online booking engine we have with the supplier. We service the booking after you book it. We will be posting links to these self-booking online tools soon! When you self-book via our personal links or self-plan and simply allow us to book and take over as your agent, you support a small business . Commission is always bundled into any booking you make online, and we greatly appreciate you allowing us to book your travel which transfer that commission to us, rather than a large corporation. My credit card offers travel protection. Why do I need travel insurance?

While we cannot legally tell you whether or not your travel protection offered by your credit card company offers adequate coverage for your trip, we recommend that you research how your credit card protection compares the travel insurance that we offer you. Be sure and read the fine print on your credit card agreement to understand exactly what is covered. Some things to consider:

  • Do I have trip cancellation insurance with my credit card? If I need to cancel or interrupt my trip, what covered reasons are eligible?
  • Do I have enough coverage for my trip?
  • Can I cancel if my traveling companion or family member gets sick?
  • Is emergency medical/dental and evacuation included as primary coverage with no deductibles?
  • Are pre-existing medical conditions covered?
  • If my luggage is lost, stolen or damaged, can I be reimbursed?
  • Can I be reimbursed for essential personal items that I must purchase if my luggage arrives late at my destination?
  • If my flight is delayed overnight, can additional expenses like hotel stays, meals and taxi fares be reimbursed?
  • Does my credit card protection allow me to cancel at any time, for any reason?
  • Does my credit card protection only cover actual items that I purchased using that card?

What are the passport and visa requirements for travel?

U.S Citizens traveling to any destination outside of the United States will be required to present a valid U.S. Passport. Passports must be valid for 6 months past the return date. Some countries require a visa for transit or entry. Passengers are responsible to ensure that they have all the proper documents for entry. All names on documents must match the legal names on your photo I.D., and travel document information must match tickets. Please check the State Department website at for more information. Immunizations may also be required. Failure to comply with these regulations may result in denied boarding, denied entry, and/or government imposed fines. If you are a citizen of another country, there may be additional requirements. Check with the nearest consulate or embassy of the destination you are traveling to and find out the entry requirements for non-U.S. Citizens.
